It’s official – Beltaine 08 was a grand success!

We’re back from Beltaine08 and after a mammoth 10hr sleep last night, I feel I am just coming down from the excitement of the weekend. From all reports, Beltaine08 was a brilliant success and we’re really happy that so many people who travelled so far (country Victoria, Adelaide, Canberra, regional NSW) had SUCH a good time with us Sydneysiders :-) It was an awesome weekend! :-D

The weekend was dead set awesome, workshops, accommodation, catering, ritual everything was wonderfully planned. It made it a great success.

Thank You for giving us your feedback, both in written form on our survey and verbally during the weekend ad hoc in your comments to us. We will use it in our preparations for next years events – for Beltaine and others.

Photos

If you send us your photos that you don’t mind sharing, I’ll upload them to a central spot and will send all participants a link, so we can share our memories of the weekend.

And I think that’s all I can really comment on so far today – my body is still sore from climbing up all the stairs and all walking I did at the site and I’ll need a day or two to stretch out my muscles.

We will also be uploading two printable versions (colour and b&w) of this flyer for you to download and print off and put on your local noticeboards or shop windows. We are also happy to print these for you and send them to you in the post. Just drop us a line via email and let us know where to send them :-)

New ‘Thank you’ link section

Hi all,

We’re working hard to get the word out there for Beltaine 08 and we’ve been getting some help from quite a few groups out there. To record this support and say thank you, I’ve created a Thank You link section so you can see who is supporting us in spreading the word.

Within the next week, we will have a hard copy flyer to get out as well, so if you’re able to put it in your shop, stall or on a local noticeboard, let us know and we’ll post some out to you.

So to those who are supporting us with advertising, a HUGE Thank You goes to you.

Keep an eye out for the next edition of Spellcraft as well for our write up in the Broomstick Pages :-)

Sydney Beltane 2008 Gathering 17-19th October 2008 – Waterfall NSW

An adults only (18yrs+) weekend gathering to celebrate Beltane.

$140 pp inc GST – includes all accommodation, catering and workshops & rituals.

A big thankyou to Magickal Mates for the promotional email that was sent out to all members last night! We’re relying on the community getting the word out for this event and booking in before 19th September. Thanks to MM!

Our deadlines are tight and we’d love to see this event supported by the community, otherwise if there is not enough interest, we will need to consider cancelling the event.

Please get the word out there and tell as many people to book their tickets asap!

The Sydney Beltaine gathering will be held over the weekend of 17th-19th October 2008.

At the moment, we are still working on our website content & details. This should be completed over the next few days and we hope that tickets will be available for purchase from early next week.
